Hello all. I really enjoyed going out and shooting this week’s assignment. I must say it’s not as easy as it sounds to shoot from up close but it really gave me the opportunity to pay attention and focus on the beautiful things that surrounds us. I went out different times and shot a variety of things. The bulk of the photos are from when I went pumpkin picking with my family this past Saturday. However, I went to a pet store and I decided to take photos of some animals and as you can see I decided to show the photo of the reptile and the snapping turtle which I thought came out really nice up close. Hope you guys enjoy these macro photos.

ReplyDeleteHi Alex, I really like the last one (Tiger Lilly I believe) with its color and detail. The water captured on the petals really enhances the image
ReplyDeleteOkay, great Alex. I appreciate your narrative at the top of the post. The pumpkin shots, although not macro are strong and I'm glad you included them. I see a bit of cyan and blue in the color balance of the Lilly. If you warm it up with some yellow and red in the color balance (ctrl>B) you will like the results... I also like the sunflower (with the light on the seeds)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the helpful feedback professor.
